Creating an online platform of cancer information and education for primary care

We have created a tailored online education platform to help GPs and other primary care staff in the difficult job of recognising and referring patients who may have cancer. The platform, named Gateway-C, features training videos and other educational resources. We will also marshal the wealth of cancer expertise in Greater Manchester to collate information about cancer risk, symptoms, decision-making, cancer education and resources. In time, we expect the digital platform to be the pre-eminent source of professional cancer information in Greater Manchester.
